ESOL Practice

We're wrapping things up this week.  We reviewed describing people.  We practiced adjective order-- especially size, color, pattern.  You might wear a large, red striped skirt, not  a striped, red, large skirt.

Girl Scouts is an organization in which young girls get together, go camping, do crafts, and volunteer to work in the community.  Their theme song is "Make New Friends."

Make it -- succeed

Remember -- never write "wanna."  "Wanna" should be "want to."

Wanting success leads to wearing shorts on the beach because the songwriter wants to be a Hollywood movie star.  She hopes a director sees her and wants to put her in a movie.

This kid's exercise song is called "Do Your Chores."  It's juvenile, but catchy with some Ventures Unit 3 Vocabulary.
