Describing People

We practiced describing people.  We used adjectives.

What's an adjective?

We described features we have and what we were wearing.  We didn't spend a lot of time on colors and clothing vocabulary, but many students did really well.

Do you want to practice clothing and color vocabulary?

Women's Clothing

A beautiful, small red striped dress.
A modern large green plaid shirt.

We put categories of description words in certain order.

Adjectives are description words.  These words describe people, places, things, and ideas.

What do you look like?  What are you wearing?  Describe yourself.  Describe a friend.

That's My Goal

Note:  "You're love" should be "your love."  "You're" and "your" are pronounced exactly the same, but you're= you are.  "Your" shows possession.

What are some things you want to do?  What do you need to do to be able to do those things?
